Contrast Sensitivity
TestBackground
This test reveals the contrast sensitivity function in a person’s eyes.
Proper contrast sensitivity is very important especially in situations of low light, fog or glare, when the contrast between objects and their background often is reduced. Driving at night is an example of an activity that requires good contrast sensitivity for safety.
How it works
During the test you will pick an object type for the test, and will be offered to identify objects of various sizes and contrasts. In the initial steps the objects are bigger in size and bolder in color. Step by step the object will become smaller and the object will become more transparent.
Results
Based on the answers, a result will be calculated for the left and the right eye separately.
