Vitamin D is involved in tear fluids and the corneal epithelial cells that help regulate tear film. It also improves visual acuity in aging eyes as well as enhances eye protection. Research shows that Vitamin D has good impact on preventing AMD.

Found in: cod liver oil, "oily" fish, fortified milk and cereal, butter, cream, liver, and egg yolks, orange juice, yogurt, soy beverages, and margarine.
